ABORIGINAL TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES IN NORTHERN MANITOBA
MANITOBA HYDRO:

Manitoba Hydro offers programs and opportunities for employment for Aboriginal people across the province.
For example, Manitoba Hydro’s Pre-Placement Training Program provides opportunities to acquire technical skills required to become Power Supply Workers (electrical technicians, mechanical technicians and control room operators). Manitoba Hydro encourages northern Manitobans to complete university entrance high school math and science courses to earn the pre-requisites needed to enter most post-secondary and training programs. For more information visit http://www.hydro.mb.ca/careers/aboriginal.shtml or visit ATEC at Nelson House.
